The traditional 19th century eagle quilt is brought up to date for today’s quilter. Big bold shapes make this quilt surprisingly quick to make.

Intermediate level quilt, assumes knowledge of basic hand or machine piecing and appliqué techniques. Mariner’s Compass block in center can be pieced by traditional method or foundation paper pieced. Pattern includes full-size patterns for appliqué pieces and Mariner’s Compass block, also a Mariner’s Compass pattern divided into sections for foundation paper piecing (foundations not included).
